Composite Decking, Cladding, Fencing & Garden Sheds engineered for outdoor living

"Your backyard deserves perfection — where material science meets the warmth of real wood."

Forestar is the outdoor brand of Anhui Fumeida New Material Technology Co., Ltd. in Xuancheng, Anhui, China. We supply importers, distributors, builders' merchants and landscape contractors with factory-direct WPC (wood-plastic composite) systems. These systems are designed to look like timber and to perform for many years.

01

Unrivaled Real-Wood Looks

Multi-tone embossed grain and a wide palette of colours and textures. Buyers can match local timber trends, from Nordic greys to tropical hardwood browns.

02

Proprietary Surface Technology

Our formulation targets a cooler touch underfoot and strong fire-resistance performance. Both matter for pool surrounds, terraces and multi-residential projects.

03

Sustainably Made

Made with up to 90% recycled wood fibre and polymers. It is a lower-impact alternative to virgin timber and does not need to be re-stained every season.

Composite vs. TimberHover to compare
Why Forestar

Built for decades, not seasons

For distributors, fewer call-backs mean better margins. Below is how Forestar composite compares with the softwood timber your customers are replacing.

Occasional cleaning with soapy water is all that's needed. Your end customers avoid the yearly cost and labour of re-coating a timber deck.

Encapsulated wood fibre resists moisture uptake. This keeps the surface splinter-free for bare feet around pools and the profile stable through freeze-thaw cycles.

UV-stabilised, capped surfaces resist the greying, wine spills and food stains that mark untreated wood within months.

Installation Know-How

How to build a composite deck

Everything installers and DIY customers need, from substructure planning to hidden-clip fixing. Share it with your dealer network to cut installation errors and warranty claims.

Installer's quick reference

  • 01

    Joist spacing

Use closer centres for commercial traffic and diagonal layouts than for standard residential decks.

  • 02

    Ventilation

Keep free airflow beneath the frame. Never lay boards directly on soil or solid slabs without bearers.

  • 03

    Expansion gaps

Composite moves with temperature. Hidden clips set consistent side gaps; leave end gaps according to the installation temperature.

  • 04

    Fixings

Use stainless-steel screws and the system clips to prevent corrosion staining and to keep coverage under warranty.

General guidance only. Always follow the Forestar installation guide for your specific profile.
